PROJECT MANAGER - CIKARANG
The incumbent will report to an expatriate Production Director and be responsibe mainly to Design, install and ensure all equipment for supporting manufacturing process, from mixing, filling up to packaging, are functioning properly. Manage and work closely with project team to achieve project targets in term of lead time and cost.
Detail roles and responsibilities include:
- Project planning and implementation to ensure project is carried out as per scope and meets the timeline
- Define detailed scope and action plan includes indentify critical paths of project
- Perform/verify engineering and designs through calculations and rationalizations
- Identify supplier/item specifications and negotiate on price, delivery and other terms and conditions as per standard procedures
- Estimate project costs through history of old jobs, quotations from suppliers, take off of the job, percentage of capital cost, crew size and time allotment, etc.
- Monthly planning on budget to reflect completed phases and to integrate future works
- Monitor and verify accounting works and the updating activities
- Supervise and ensure that works carried out by contractors are done as per correct specifications and drawing: civil, mechanical and electrical.
- Daily enforcement on Safety, especially when new jobs are assigned and continuously check safe operation of plant and workers
- Fully understand the contract terms and conditions (as company standards) and implement proper document management system: contract formation, enforceability, interpretation; bonds and insurances, mechanics’ liens, change orders, claim documentation, and costs of disputes.
- Resolves dispute according to contractual terms and conditions
- Implement and maintain high document management standard for all records and data (site log, inspection, communication memos, photos, technical specifications, procedures, etc.)
General requirement:
- Bachelor degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering or careers related to the Food and Beverage industry, with a specialization in related careers.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in similar positions preferably from Food or Beverage manufacturing company
- Knowledge in Installation, trouble shooting beverages machinery and maintenance system, either electrical, mechanical or automation systems/PLC
- Has a good Engineering knowledge – unit operations and transport processes, fluid mechanics and thermodynamics
- Good supervisory and management skill
- Good communication and negotiation skill
- Has a good understanding about budget preparation, cost control and accounting / Management Reporting comprehension
- Excellent English both oral and written
This is a senior management position and an attractive remuneration package would be provided commensurate with the qualification and experiences of the selected candidates.
